Having worked with many youngsters and ex servicemen, Andy has witnessed the levels of depression many of them live with. With this book, he aims to try to do raise awareness of the issues surrounding mental health, and particularly, suicide. After witnessing an inordinate number of students self-harming, penning depressing posts on social media, and culminating with <\/span>a tragic incident that saw a student throw himself to his death from a sixth floor window at his university, Andy <\/span>wanted to offer a means of recognising some of the warning signs that come with the territory of depression, self-harming and self-loathing. As well as initiating regular well-being workshops and group help sessions, Andy interviewed a number of people who have been affected by suicide attempts, or live with the consequences of suicide. This book is the result of months of research and interviews.
